Title: Douglas LEAP annual review : November 2000
Author: Environment Agency North West Region Central Area
Document Type: Monograph
Abstract:
The Douglas Local Environment Agency Plan is a significant step forward in achieving our vision for the future improvement and environmental management of the area. This First Annual Review informs the reader of progress made and successes achieved on environmental issues within the Douglas area since June 1999. Implementation of this annual review is based on the 17 issues set out in the Consultation Report (published November 1998). Resulting from the consultation process these issues were carried forward to the Action Plan along with additional issues submitted by local authorities. The updated issues are presented with a number of actions, a target timetable and the identification of responsible parties. Where possible, costs have been outlined for the period covered by the plan. This does not necessarily reflect the total cost of the schemes and is sometimes a projected estimate to be more accurately costed later. This document recognises current priorities, both within the Agency and other organisations.
