Abstract:
These guidance notes are specifically intended for contracts which are covered by procurement legislation and explain which regulations apply, the contracts subject to regulations, the procedures which must be followed and where help is available. Although the main purpose of the notes is to provide an accessible guide to the Regulations, help is also provided on issues of general concern arising from procurement legislation. The notes use examples and flowcharts to aid comprehension but is should be remembered that the legislation sets out a framework and in many areas a judgement must be made about precise requirements
