Abstract:
This report contains the results of applying the chemical GQA Scheme to data collected during 1992 to 1994 from the freshwater stretches of rivers in Devon Area. These results are referred to as the 1994 assessment. This assessment uses all routine samples taken between 1 January 1992 and 31 December 1994 as part of the annual GQA monitoring programmes. It is calculated from measurements of the concentrations of biochemical oxygen demand, total ammonia and dissolved oxygen.
