Abstract:
The NRA consults widely with interested organisations and the general public before definitive Catchment
Management Plans are published. This Consultation Report is the first stage of the process and will be followed by a Final Report and Action Plan. The NRA will review Catchment Management Plans annually and they will normally be revised at five year intervals. This Catchment Management Plan is split into three sections. The first section provides general information on the catchment. The second details uses, such as flood control, effluent disposal, fisheries and recreation. The final sections outlines targets for the catchment on the following issues river flows. water quality, river topography and river management.
