Title: Regional water quality monitoring and surveillance programme for 1992 : quality assessment of river waters
Author: A. Taylor
Document Type: Monograph
This report describes river water quality monitored in 32 catchments in the South West Region. This programme is a result of an annual review of the Routine Rivers Sampling Programme undertaken in Autumn 1991 when monitoring locations and frequency were reviewed. In 1991 a number of sites were introduced as result of the requirements of the EC Dangerous Substances Directive List II; a few sites were dropped. A major re-evaluation of the existing Analytical Suites was undertaken and new revised suites were introduced. This report gives details of precisely which determinands are analysed at each sampling point and how often sampling takes place.
