Abstract:
This report analyses the annual review of the Sussex Area. This is the first, combined annual review of the three Local Environment Agency Plans (LEAPs) in the Sussex Area of the Agency. The Annual Review process enables the Agency to assess progress of the actions identified in the original plans. It provides the opportunity to reconsider the issues and actions originally identified and to highlight new issues and actions resulting from new or increased pressures. This document contains sections on: review of 2000/2001; planning for the future; looking forward to 2001/2002; working together for a better environment; update on legislation and guidance; development pressures (working with local authorities); indicators; new publications; Sussex Area actions update and appendices.
