Cuckmere and Pevensey Levels catchment

Definition (http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/static/documents/Research/Catchment_summary_-_Cuckmere__Pevensey_-_final.pdf)

Much of the Cuckmere and Pevensey Levels catchment consists of the rural landscape of the High and Low Weald but there are also significant developments notably the fast growing town of Hailsham and the coastal towns of Seaford, Eastbourne, Bexhill and Hastings. The catchment also includes the internationally designated wildlife site Pevensey Levels which depends on water level management for its existence, and the Sussex Downs and chalk cliffs along the coast.
