Irwell catchment

Medium sized (770km2) and largely urban catchment in the south east of the North West River Basin District. The northern and western reaches are largely rural but further south and east former industrial towns and urban areas dominate, including Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford and Manchester.
