Title: Posthodiplostomum cuticola metacercaria
Description: Posthodiplostomum cuticola taken from a roach in Lincolnshire. Posthodiplostomum cuticola is a common parasite of freshwater fish (the second intermediate host, molluscs being the first) and is the cause of black spot (caused by melanin surrounding the metacercarial cyst).
