Abstract:
This leaflet gives a brief overview of the three lakes situated in the Lake District and current issues. The Agency has developed a framework for formulating Action Plans to deal with algal problems and has recently completed proposals for a strategy to deal with specific eutrophication problems. A draft report evaluating the options for the management of these is imminent.
