Abstract:
The Environment Agency is committed to full consultation during all stages of the Local Environment Agency Plan LEAP) process. During the compilation of the Derbyshire Derwent LEAP, launched in February 1998, the EA undertook extensive consultation with interested parties and the general public. This document reviews that process and presents the comments from the letters of response and the questionnaire responses. The document is divided in four parts: The consultation process was: summary of responses; responses from consultees and action taken and further action.
