Abstract:
In May 1989 the Department of the Environment contracted VRc to (a) test and validate epidemiological procedures for determining the risks, if any, to the health of bathers in coastal water contaminated by sevage, and (b) establish the relationships, if any, between microbiological quality of coastal waters and the risk to health of bathers and to report by end May 1990.
