Abstract:
This is the Volume II of the Annual Fisheries report from the Midlands Region, which was published on the 2nd July 1996. The report contains sections on River Severn Salmon Data, regional fisheries Byelaws, fish population survey summary results, fish rearing and stocking and fish mortalities. The section on River Severn Salmon Data includes licence sales, catch returns, Redd counts and Scale analysis. The section on fish population survey summary results includes information about upper and lower Severn and upper and lower Trent. The section on fish rearing and stocking includes information about salmon stocking, Calverton production and coarse fish stocking. Finally the section on fish mortalities includes fish mortalities of the upper and lower sections of rivers Severn and Trent.
