Abstract:
One of the main themes of the National Rivers Authority's Regional Corporate Plan was to substantially increase NRA staff resources above the minimal level of its inheritance, which had restricted the level of activity across a range of important responsibilities. This report contains sections on: performance in 1991/92; Plans 1992/93 and 1993/94; Efficiency and productivity; and Schedules. The section Plans 1992/93 and 1993/94 is divided in Core Functions (water resources, pollution control, flood defence, fisheries, recreation, conservation); and Support Services (administration, legal, estates, public relations, information systems, research and development, finance, personnel).
