Abstract:
This report provides a summary of the water quality modelling Group workshop held on 2000, including papers and overheads prepared by each speaker, together with a brief introduction to the topic of each presentation. A summary of the discussion points and comments made on feedback sheets are included in the form of bullet points. This workshop was the second in a series on water quality modelling. In the first workshop, Universities and Research Institutes active in water quality modelling described their current research and development. The overall aims of this workshop were to: Give an overview of the current usage and development needs of water quality modelling tools in the Agency; Present examples of current Agency water quality modelling projects; Discuss future Agency modelling requirements in the context of the proposed Water Quality Framework Directive.
