Abstract:
This report provides a brief overview of the work and major issues in the Region over the 2000/01 financial year. The regional overview that follows this introduction gives an outline of the key work areas of national or regional significance. Later sections provide details of some projects undertaken to benefit the wildlife and people of the North West. The Agency also
produces a Fisheries Annual report that highlights some of the work done by fisheries staff to maintain, improve and develop fisheries in the North West region.
