This report gathers the main ideas of one day conference organised by The Freshwater Fisheries Laboratory, The Atlantic Salmon Trust and The Association of Scottish District Salmon Fishery Boan held near Inverness on 24th November, 1993. Some of the main topics described in this document are: local problems of escaped farmed salmon, reductions of sea trout fisheries, decline of sea trout post smolts and kelts at sea, fish predators, parasites and fish diseases.
