Abstract:
This report reviews these measures in the context of other factors which affect poaching and it also makes some recommendations about further legislation. The measures available to enforcement agencies to restrict illegal fishing for salmon are contained in a confusing variety of statutes, and differ in their application in England and Wales as opposed to Scotland.
