Idle and Torne catchmentDefinition (http://bit.ly/184QZY9) The catchment of the Idle and Torne rivers covers an area approximately 1,200km2. Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire are the principle counties. However, Derbyshire and North Lincolnshire cover areas to the south west and north east of the catchment area respectively. The Idle drains a catchment area of approximately 879km2
