Don and Rother catchmentDefinition (http://ccmhub.net/category/find-your-local-catchment/don/) The Don catchment covers an area of approximately 1849km2 and covers a change in altitude of over 450m in the Humber River Basin District. The population within the catchment is approximately 1.4 million. The River Don has two main tributaries, the Dearne & Rother. All three rivers pass through dramatically different scenes, from beautiful, unspoilt countryside to heavily populated and industrialised towns and cities.
