Don and Rother catchment

Definition (http://ccmhub.net/category/find-your-local-catchment/don/)

The Don catchment covers an area of approximately 1849km2 and covers a change in altitude of over 450m in the Humber River Basin District. The population within the catchment is approximately 1.4 million. The River Don has two main tributaries, the Dearne & Rother. All three rivers pass through dramatically different scenes, from beautiful, unspoilt countryside to heavily populated and industrialised towns and cities. The catchment is bounded by the Pennines to the west, the Calder and lower catchments to the north and the Trent to the east and south. (CCM)
