Abstract:
This Environment Agency booklet aims to analyse recreational waterways byelaws in the Anglian Region. The Anglian Water Authority under and by virtue of the powers and authority vested in them by Section 18 of the Anglian Water Authority Act 1977 hereby make the following Byelaws: citation; application; interpretation; safety requirements; registration; refusal revocation appeal; pleasure boats to be registered; inspection of registers; transfers; certificate to be produced; exemption and penalty. The Anglian Water Authority under and by virtue of the powers and authority vested in them by Section 18 of the Anglian Water Authority Act 1977 and of all other powers them enabling hereby make the following Byelaws: citation; interpretation and application; damage; fauna; electric generators; vehicles parking; gates to be closed; camping; animals to be controlled; bills; obstruction in locks; dangerous litter; harassment; guns; diving; navigation; moorings; locks; fuel tanks; Wicken Lode; River Stour; River Great Ouse; Obstraction of officers; enforcement and penalty. The Anglian Water Authority under and by virtue of the powers and authority vested in them by Section 22 of the Countryside Act 1968, and of all other powers them enabling hereby make the following byelaws: citation; interpretation; application; boats and boating; fishing; vehicles and general.
