Abstract:
The National Rivers Authority prepared the plan for the Hatfield Chase pumped drainage system, which surrounds Hatfield Moors SSSI. This plan was written with the full cooperation of the several Internal Drainage Boards that operate in the area. This consultation report is the first stage in the preparation of the plan. It provides a framework for consultation and seeks a commitment from those concerned in the management of water levels in the area.
