Abstract:
The Water Research Centre was contracted by the National Rivers Authority (NRA) to produce a Code of Practice for Analytical Quality Control (AQC) for use in its laboratories. The draft Code provided in this report is being circulated for comment and subsequent revision. The draft code of practice deals with the approach to AQC with respect to setting analytical requirements, sample handling, and within- and between-laboratory quality control.
