Abstract:
This document is the fith annual report about Conservation, access and recreation of the Environment Agency. This report shows national summaries of the year about legislation; education, research and promotion; and financial resources. Though it is not possible to describe in detail within this report, all the Conservation and Recreation projects the Agency completed in 2000/2001, it have been selected a few from each of the Agencys eight regions that typify the range of work undertaken. It contains also contains information about conservation, access and recreation; access for all; research and development; enhancing biodiversity; river re-engineering and habitat creation; managing landscapes; and statistics.
