Abstract:
The Section 105 - C30/92 Survey reported here covers watercourses in Hexham, namely the reaches of Cockshaw Bum between the River Tyne confluence and Bishopton Way and the tributary of Cockshaw Bum, Halgut Bum between its confluence with Cockshaw Burn and High Shields all as detailed in the brief. Associated catchment details are also included where there is an impact on the reach under investigation. The study includes a 2.7 km reach of Cockshaw Bum and a 1.6km reach of Halgut Bum.
